Viewpoint Assessment Center is your child’s first step toward a safer and brighter future. Established in 2007, they are located on a 7-acre campus in Syracuse, Utah, 40 minutes north of Salt Lake City. Licensed and nationally accredited, Viewpoint has a caring, trusted and highly-trained team that specializes in providing short-term stabilization and assessment services for struggling 13-17 year olds.
Adolescents at Viewpoint will receive 30 hours of weekly therapeutic programming that includes psychiatric care, individual group and family therapy, and 3.5 hours of academic support, daily recreational therapy and 24-hour nursing.
Viewpoint is a secure, 26-bed mental health hospital that provides acute and residential services for adolescents. The Assessment Center is licensed and is accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).
