A letter from Island View Management:
This past Friday, April 25 2014, Island View RTC officially closed its doors. Island View opened in 1994 with the intention of helping struggling young men and women. It was once an independent program, but was acquired by the Aspen Education Group, which was then acquired by CRC Health. As of May 12, the license for Island View will expire without renewal. Similarly, Island View’s education license is set to expire.
CRC Health determined Island View no longer fit within its organizational goals and will focus on other programs they own. Family Help & Wellness, a company unaffiliated with CRC, will open a new residential treatment center under new management on the former Island View campus.
Former Executive Director of Island View commented, “It is with great sadness we announce the closure of Island View. It means changes for employees and families we seek to help. But with the opening of a new program with a new direction, Elevations RTC, on Island View’s former campus, I’m hopeful that even more families will find the guidance and care they seek.”
We are pleased to have served all of our families.
Sincerely,
Island View Management
